Third Rail Insulators Print E-mail

Our Third Rail Insulators are manufactured by Compression Molding.

Quality Industries uses SMC (sheet mold compound) or BMC (bulk molding compound) to produce polyester fiberglass parts.

Parts made from this process have high electrical & strength properties while allowing molding to close tolerances. They are also noted for dimensional stability and accuracy, corrosion and stain resistance all with a low cost per cubic inch.  Our presses are from 100 thru 270 tons.
