WHY HAVE YOUR PART ROTATIONALLY MOLDED?
Both injection and blow molding make hollow shapes. Rotational Molding is a process that makes them stronger, more cost-effectively and easier to customize.
STRONGER
By the nature of the rotational molding process, parts have a more reliable, consistent wall thickness. Due to the rotation, parts tend to have the thickest wall sections on the outside corners of the structure, making a stronger, more durable part.
FASTER
Products that are assembled from smaller parts can now be molded as one unit. Without an internal core, changes can be easily made to the external core without starting from scratch.
COST EFFECTIVE
The manufacturing process is less expensive because unlike blow molding, there is no inner core in the mold.
This results in tooling (molds) that are a fraction of the cost.
CUSTOM
Finally a part can be designed specially tailored to your business needs. Our design engineers can add:
• inserts • ribbed reinforcement • handles • grooves • dividers • spigots • casters • and many other secondary operations.
